Riddles I've Been Pondering

Q: Why would one endure a hard underwater camera case hanging around their neck while whitewater rafting?

A: Because sometimes you get the money shot - or at least it would be a money shot if I got paid for that sort of thing.

Q: Why do I see so many people riding on motorcyles/scooters/bikes without helmets?

A: Okay, this one I don't know. There are no prosthetics for your brain.

Q: Why would a jury in Minneapolis award damages of 1.92 million for sharing 24 songs?

A: This one I also don't know. Putting aside the dubious morality of pursuing expensive lawsuits based on evidence from a company who refuses to let the processes that produce their evidence be examined in detail, even assuming she's guilty could she possibly have caused 1.92 million dollars worth of damage?

The Garden is Served

The first harvest of the garden was radishes, dill, cilantro and arugula.

And my dinner last night - arugula salad with fresh dill, radishes, parmesan and croutons.
